Thank You To All Who Participated!

WOW!  What can we say but…WOW!

What a tremendous response we received for the Never Forgotten 5k Virtual Series & After Parties!  We want to take this time to thank all of our amazing sponsors and especially all of our participants who showed their love for our Fallen Heroes, as well as all those who came together on both coasts to honor their memories.

We would also be remiss if we did not send a big shout out to the entire rucking community, particularly Triton Ruck Club and GoRuck. Thanks to their continued support and partnership, the Never Forgotten 5k was more successful than ever!

The No Gala Gala | SAT 06/19/21 at The Shack | A  FREE Event For The NSO Community!

The No Gala Gala is coming up very soon and we can hardly wait! This alternative to our traditional NSOF Benefit Gala will be held on Saturday, 06/19/21 at The Shack in Virginia Beach.

With special guest Josh King, creator of the animated series Little Top in attendance, the official unveiling of the November-1, food, drinks, and an entire private area reserved for NSO members and their families to kick back and relax...this is one event you WON'T want to miss!

We understand the importance and impact these celebratory events have on the NSO community, so after a long 1.5 years of COVID mandates and two consecutive Gala cancellations, we thought it was time to get everyone together and celebrate!

NSOF Annual Benefit Gala - Hampton Roads | Postponed to 06/11/22

Unfortunately, due to current gathering mandates, we had to make the difficult decision to postpone our East Coast gala until June 11th, 2022.

While we will not be able to host our formal event this year, we understand the importance and impact these celebratory events have on the NSO community and will be holding the No Gala Gala - A FREE exciting and informal alternative event!

What We Do

Honoring Our Fallen

NSOF was honored to be a part of LCDR David Meadows' Memorial Ceremony this Memorial Day Weekend.

With many of Dave's brothers and sisters unable to pay their respects last year due to COVID travel restrictions, NSOF was able to help facilitate a ceremony for all those who knew him, to give a proper farewell.

Over 100 NSO members gathered to take part in the traditional "crab tacking" ceremony, where service-members removed their pins and tacked them into the custom, wooden crate which will house LCDR Meadow's urn.

To see more images and footage of this meaningful and remarkable ceremony captured by Active-Duty NEOD Operator Rick Hernandez of Sonny Dez, please click the link below.

Community Presence

As the world begins to transition back to normal, NSOF was quick to jump at the opportunity to partner with the NEOD Community to help fund a worthy gathering in Virginia Beach last Thursday. The occasion was to celebrate the retirement and transfer of five NEOD Warriors, open to Active and Retired service-members and their families.

As part of our Community Presence program, NSOF provided funding for food and drinks as we understand firsthand the benefits and importance of this community maintaining these strong bonds.

 The NSO Memorial Project

Protector First, Warrior Always

Well over a year in the making, NSOF is thrilled to unveil The NSO Memorial Project!

The NSO Memorial not only honors our fallen Navy Special Operations (NSO) heroes, but its unique and original design simultaneously promotes healing and wellness for those who are still among us.

Having worked diligently to ensure that meaning has been embedded in every detail of this project, we invite you to view our progress and pledge your support.

How to Help

To date, NSOF has invested more than $500,000 in tailored services, unique programs, and emergency financial relief directly impacting over 3,825 Navy Special Operations Warriors and their families. The distribution of these funds equated to 96% of every dollar donated being directly utilized towards our stated mission.
