Gala Day Volunteers

Gala Day Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the event. From assisting with guest registration and supporting the silent auction to helping with setup and teardown, these roles are ideal for anyone looking to make a meaningful contribution on the day of the gala. Join us for a fulfilling experience as we bring this memorable evening to life!

Time Commitment: 

    • Volunteer Schedules are divided into multiple, 3-6hr shifts

Gala Committee Members

Gala Committee Members are essential to the planning and execution of the event. They take on key roles like managing sponsorships, organizing logistics, coordinating auction items, and overseeing volunteers. Joining the committee is a great way to contribute your skills and help ensure the success of this important evening for the NSO community!

Length of Involvement & Time Commitment: 

    • Approximately 2-5 hours per month, Jan-March
    • Approximately 5-10 hours per month, March-June

Silent Auction Planning & Management Committee: Dedicated to organizing the silent auction, securing high-quality items, creating engaging displays, and ensuring a seamless auction process. Their efforts contribute significantly to the gala’s fundraising success.

Volunteer Engagement & Oversight Committee: This committee recruits, trains, and coordinates volunteers for the gala, ensuring every role is filled and responsibilities are clear. They play a key part in creating a well-organized and smoothly run event.

Event Branding & Presentation Committee Committee: This committee handles the visual and creative elements of the gala, including decor, signage, and printed materials. They ensure the event’s presentation aligns with NSOF’s mission and creates an inspiring atmosphere.

Event Flow & Logistics Committee: This committee manages the operational details of the gala, from coordinating vendors and schedules to overseeing setup and breakdown. Their work ensures everything runs on time and as planned.

Event Stewardship & Relations Committee: Focuses on post-event follow-up, ensuring donors, sponsors, and volunteers are properly thanked and recognized. They also gather feedback and document lessons learned for future galas.

VIP Engagement & Coordination Committee: Ensures VIPs and special guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience. They handle invitations, RSVPs, and day-of-event hospitality to create a memorable experience for these key attendees.

Sponsorship Outreach & Development Committee: Drives sponsorship efforts by identifying prospective sponsors, developing relationships, and securing financial and in-kind support. Their work provides essential funding for the gala’s success.
