Never Forgotten 5k Series
Various Dates 2026
The Never Forgotten 5K Series is a nationwide set of 5K races held throughout the year in support of Navy Special Operations. Each race honors the fallen while raising funds for programs serving Navy EOD and Navy Divers and their families. Sponsors can participate at the individual race level or through national partnerships supporting the full series. ​
King Crab Competition
Little Creek-Fort Story, Virginia
The King Crab Competition is the premier tactical event of the Navy EOD community, testing endurance, technical skill, and teamwork through a demanding multi-day challenge. NSOF serves as the bridge between industry and the event ensuring its long-term sustainability by connecting mission-aligned partners through sponsorship of gear kits, the pre-event social, and the award ceremony. Proceeds directly support NSOF’s mission to serve the Navy Special Operations community and their families.

COMMAND FAMILY DAY EVENTS

Family Day is an annual celebration that brings together Navy EOD Operators, Divers, and their families for a day of connection, recognition, and fun. Supported by the Navy Special Operations Foundation (NSOF), the event features family-friendly activities, food, games, and community engagement opportunities that strengthen the bonds within the NSO community.
LEGACY SCHOLARSHIPS
APRIL 2026
This scholarship offers funding for higher education and trade schools for remarkable students, all children of Navy Divers and Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal operators. Awardees are selected for their integrity, strength, and commitment to service. Their achievements reflect the spirit of our Warriors' lives and legacies, and NSOF is honored to support them as they pursue their goals.
FAMILY GETAWAYS
SEPTEMBER 2026
The NSOF Family Weekend Getaway at Great Wolf Lodge is one of the Foundation’s most impactful family programs, offering over 60 NSO families a chance to relax, reconnect, and build lasting relationships. This signature event continues to grow each year, with proceeds and sponsorships helping expand the number of families who can attend.
THE NSO MEMORIAL
YEAR-LONG 2026
Support the preservation of Navy Special Operations history and the honoring of the fallen through partnership with the NSO Memorial. The NSO Memorial serves as a lasting place of remembrance and connection for the NSO community. Partnerships support memorial events, ceremonies, and outreach efforts that honor the fallen and preserve the community’s history.
NSOF OPERATOR RESET
SPRING 2026
The NSOF Operator Reset, is a dedicated retreat designed to help Navy EOD Operators and Divers decompress, reconnect, and reset away from the demands of service. Named in memory of EODCS Steve “Coop” Cooper, who tragically took his own life, the program offers group experiences focused on resiliency, peer connection, and overall well-being.

Warrior Care partnerships support Navy Special Operations families during some of their most challenging moments. These partnerships help fund critical assistance, resources, and support services when they are needed most, providing timely help to Navy EOD and Navy Divers and their families.
